Nepal Could Become Global Destination for Yoga Researchers, President Says

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has stated that Nepal has the potential to become a global hub for researchers studying Yoga science. In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, the President encouraged everyone to embrace Yoga for physical and mental well-being.

President Paudel emphasized that Yoga is more than just physical exercise; it is a scientific lifestyle and system based on rules and discipline. He highlighted that Yoga can infuse positive energy through meditation, helping individuals remain stress-free. According to the President, practicing Yoga enhances daily work efficiency and strengthens the immune system.

He also pointed out that historical and archaeological evidence, along with insights from Yoga teachers and researchers, indicates that Nepal is the origin of Yoga. He noted the influence of Yoga in Nepal's temples, crafts, and paintings.

Yoga Helps Bind the World in Unity: Vice President
Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, in a similar message, expressed his belief that International Yoga Day contributes to global unity. He stated that Yoga promotes a healthy and happy life and should be seen as an opportunity for the human race to benefit from its practice.
